We've released some new tasks to help us write the comparison page for Zulip's features against other chat products on the market.

Also, in case you folks are curious, GCI students have now completed a total of more than 170 Zulip tasks! This is incredible.

We're working to release a lot more, since a lot of our tasks have been claimed at this point :)

We're also now releasing a few dozen "solve an open GitHub issue" tasks for the main server project! I recommend these tasks to folks who already have done our beginner tasks :).

@Joshua Pan Found the issue (or at least my revised version). Dunno why those tasks are linking to a very old version of that task, but I'll fix them.

Instead use the instructions here:

Which have you put the spreadsheet in a publicly-accessible Google Doc and link it from the comments on your GCI task. Also double-check that all the things it's asking you to look for are the same---they should mostly be, but I might have made a couple changes.

Yeah, the links work now :) Good job. I think you can clear up the screenshot section a bit by queuing the links properly like - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16a46fPeEd-PnqS5ZBpspTScnjIaXwr60xFVEdcwKiTY/edit#gid=0 , just so that it looks a bit clean.

Yay! The 50 user guides tasks, if completed, would basically fully document the features of Zulip, which would be an amazing goal to accomplish by the end of GCI :)

(ah oops, miscommunication between the mentors, re: the earlier parts of this thread. But it is true that if these 80 (50 from last week and 30 from now) are completed we will have almost fully documented the user facing features of zulip :))
